Our Services

Mealens is an intelligent health-tracking application that combines advanced Vision AI and machine learning to analyze your meals, track nutrition, monitor symptoms, and provide personalized health insights. Mealens captures meal photos, voice-recorded symptoms and health notes, mood tracking, sleep data, and integrates with Apple Health for seamless health data synchronization. All AI processing happens directly on your device. Mealens is available as an iOS application.

Local Processing & Privacy First

Mealens is designed with privacy as a core principle. All AI processing, including meal image analysis, nutritional assessment, symptom and mood tracking, voice-to-text conversion, and health insights generation, happens entirely on your device. Your health data, meal information, medical notes, and personal health records never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

This means:

• Your health information stays private on your device
• No meal data, nutritional records, or health metrics are uploaded to the cloud
• No third parties have access to your meals, symptoms, or health conditions
• You maintain complete control over your personal health data
• Your medical history and health patterns remain confidential
• Voice recordings and meal images never leave your device

Mealens Does Not Collect Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information from you, including but not limited to:

• IP addresses or device identifiers
• Meal photos, food images, or video recordings
• Nutritional data or dietary information
• Voice recordings or audio data
• Health records, symptoms, or medical conditions
• Mood, sleep, or emotional data
• Geographic location or browsing behavior
• Any sensitive personal health information, including diagnoses, medications, or health metrics

Data Storage

All data generated by Mealens, including your meal photos, nutritional analysis, voice memos, health records, symptom logs, mood tracking, sleep data, and personalized health insights, is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. This data is:

• Encrypted using iOS standard encryption
• Protected by your device's security features
• Never synchronized to external servers
• Only accessible by you through the Mealens app

If you delete the Mealens app from your device, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.

Apple Health Integration

Mealens integrates with Apple Health to allow you to sync your health data across your Apple devices. You have complete control over which data is shared with Apple Health:

• You explicitly authorize what data Mealens can read from and write to Apple Health
• You can revoke permission at any time through iOS Settings
• Apple Health data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
• Mealens does not have access to Apple Health data beyond what you explicitly authorize
• Your decision to use Apple Health integration is entirely optional

Third-Party Services

Mealens does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. We do not use:

• Medical records systems or healthcare providers

All AI models and processing capabilities are embedded within the app and run entirely on your device.

App Store and Payment Information

If you purchase Mealens through the Apple App Store, your payment information is processed by Apple, not by us. We do not have access to your payment details. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how Apple handles your data.

Health Data Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

Mealens handles sensitive health information with the utmost care. Since all processing happens on your device and we don't collect, store, or transmit your health data to external servers, your personal health information is protected and remains your property. Children's Privacy

Mealens does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. • You can manage Apple Health permissions through iOS Settings
• You can use iOS backup features to preserve or transfer your data between your own devices
• No account registration is required, so there's no account data to manage

Health Insights & Medical Disclaimer

Mealens provides personalized health insights and pattern recognition based on your meal and health data. These insights are calculated entirely on your device. Your health information and insights are never shared with medical professionals, healthcare providers, or third-party health services unless you explicitly choose to share them. Mealens insights are for informational purposes and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals regarding your health.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the revised Policy on our website and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. We encourage you to review the Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.

International Users

Mealens can be used anywhere in the world. Since all processing happens locally on your device, there are no data transfer or jurisdictional concerns. Your health data never leaves your device regardless of your location.
